KARLENE MULLINGS- BRANCH MANAGER, OCHO RIOS

Karlene Mullings is Branch Manager for Capital & Credit Merchant Bank, Ocho Rios, with direct responsibility for the management of the client relations, operations and retail banking units as well as the development and maintenance of a viable and successful revenue base of the Branch.

Mrs. Mullings, who has been the Branch Manager since 2007, is a Career Banker with over 10 years banking experience within the Financial Services Industry.

She has particular strengths in financial planning, business development, customer relations and banking operations. Mrs. Mullings holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounts with First Class Honours, from the University of Technology, and a Diploma in Finance. Her other qualifications include certifications in Project Management from Smythe, Witter & Associates and a certificate in Jamaican Securities Dealing from the Jamaica Institute of Management.

Mrs. Mullings, after joining the Group in 2003, was very instrumental in the setting up of the new Ocho Rios Branch and also in developing a strong assets base for the Montego Bay Branch of the Bank in its earlier operations. During her tenure with the Group, she has worked in a number of managerial positions.

She also did stints at Manufacturers Sigma Merchant Bank, in Montego Bay & Mandeville as a former Assistant Manager, Trading & Investment Services. Mrs. Mullings is a Member of the St. Ann Chamber of Commerce. Her interests are reading, singing and listening to music.
