Moya Leiba-Barnes

MOYA LEIBA-BARNES – GENERAL MANAGER

As General Manager of Capital & Credit Merchant Bank Limited, Mrs. Leiba-Barnes is responsible for the overall management of the Retail Banking, Treasury & Investments and Branch Operations of the Bank. In January 2010, the Retail Banking Division was expanded to include the E-Channels and Customer Contact Centre (CCFGNOW), which falls under the leadership of Mrs. Leiba Barnes.

She is a seasoned Banker with over 20 years experience in the financial industry. She was a former Central Banker and has been with the Company since April 2000, and has held several senior management positions including being the former Senior Vice President of Retail Banking & Treasury. Mrs. Leiba-Barnes has an MBA from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Management also from the UWI.

She is a Member of the Kiwanis Club of New Kingston and an active Member of the St. Richards Roman Catholic Church. A graduate of Clarendon College and Immaculate Conception High schools, Moya is an avid reader and a sports enthusiast, who loves cooking, spending time with her family and enjoys a good laugh.
